Edward Slaughter, Jr

Edward Slaughter, Jr. is a partner in the Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice departments. He concentrates his practice on plaintiff’s personal injury law and represents clients injured in motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, by product defect, as a result of medical or nursing malpractice and from falls or premises accidents. Mr. Slaughter has had numerous settlements and verdicts exceeding one million dollars in both New Jersey State Courts and U.S. Federal Courts.

Mr. Slaughter received his undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from Rutgers University. He served two terms as a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee. Mr. Slaughter also served as a member and Chair of the Mercer County Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee and the District VII Ethics Committee. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Mercer County Bar Association, where he served as a Trustee.

Mr. Slaughter has written numerous informative personal injury articles over the years that can be found in both the New Jersey Law Journal and on the worldwide web and has lectured on personal injury issues for continuing legal education courses and seminars. His published opinions include:
