PR&A Adds New Associates and Welcomes Back Another

Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates to their Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice departments and the return of Commercial Law & Litigation attorney, Betsy Sweetser. 

Dr. Douglas S. Grossbart, M.D., Esq. is a physician-attorney who focuses his practice on medical malpractice, brain injury, nursing home negligence, product liability and other complex personal injury matters.   His background and knowledge in both the medical and legal fields allow him to better assist those suffering injuries. A 1988 graduate of Seton Hall University, summa cum laude with a degree in chemistry and a 1993 graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Doug completed his medical training internship in Pennsylvania before attending Law School.

Christina V. Lazzaruolo, Esq., associate in the personal injury group, is a graduate of Villanova University, the Rutgers School of Law and the Seton Hall School of Law Health Law LL.M. program.  Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the New Jersey Department of Human Service in the Office of Legal and Regulatory Affairs.  

The firm also welcomes back attorney, E. Elizabeth (Betsy) Sweetser.   Ms. Sweetser is of counsel to the firm and works in the Commercial Law and Litigation and Insurance Litigation Departments.  She concentrates her practice in the areas of complex non-personal injury civil litigation and appeals, with emphasis on trust and fiduciary litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance coverage and contract matters. After graduating from Rutgers Law School in Newark NJ, Ms. Sweetser joined PR&A where she remained until late 2014.  She recently rejoined the firm.
