Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman is pleased to welcome Sherri L. Warfel, Esquire back to the firm as Chair of our Nursing Home Practice. Ms. Warfel is a skilled trial attorney and litigator with 25 years of experience representing victims injured by negligence. For more than 15 years, she has been concentrating her practice assisting victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.
Ms. Warfel represents individuals harmed while in the care of nursing homes and other medical facilities. She handles cases involving pressure wounds, preventable falls & fractures, infection, abuse, and death, as well as other injuries from nursing malpractive. She has settled and tried hundreds of cases in her years of practice for deserving litigants.
Ms. Warfel has been a featured speaker and panelist regarding issues in nursing home litigation and has worked to obtain favorable decisions on behalf of nursing home residents, including a notable case involving forced arbitration. She has served on the Board of Governors for the New Jersey Association for Justice. She is a member of the NJ and Mercer County Bar Associations and has served as Co-Chair of the Women's Committee of the Mercer County Bar. As a long-time local resident, Ms. Warfel is active in the community. For years, she has volunteered for an annual Turkey Drive raising funds for Mercer Street Friends Food Bank and has also helped to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
