Thomas R. Smith and Jeffrey S. Monaghan will be speaking at New Jersey Association of Justice's Boardwalk Seminar

Thomas R. Smith, Esq., managing partner and Chairman of the firm’s Personal Injury Department, will be speaking on the topic of “Ethical Considerations Regarding Referral Fees” at this year’s New Jersey Association for Justice’s (NJAJ) Boardwalk Seminar.

Mr. Smith has tried many cases over the last 30 years and has obtained significant verdicts on his client’s behalf.   He handles complex personal injury matters in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  

Jeffrey S. Monaghan, Esq. will be speaking on the topic of “Establishing Medical Causation in Orthopedic Occupational Claims”.

Mr. Monaghan is a partner in the firms’ Workers’ Compensation Department, where he concentrates his practice on assisting injured workers.  He is also a co-chair of the Workers’ Compensation section at this year’s seminar.

NJAJ is a statewide legal association of over 2,700 members that fight for the rights of New Jersey’s families by working to preserve and strengthen the laws for safer products and workplaces, a cleaner environment and quality health care.  Their annual Boardwalk Seminar involves three days of seminars relating to Continuing Legal Education.

The seminar will be held from May 8th to the 10th at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.
