Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman sponsors the Greater Flemington Soccer Club

Neal Solomon, a partner in the law firm of Pellettieri Rabstein and Altman, hands the firm’s check in the amount of $500.00 to Coach John Carbone following the Flames’ 3-1 victory over a team from Montgomery Township on Sunday. Also in the picture are Coach Bill McCracken and members of the Flemington Flames girls’ U-11 soccer team.

Pellettieri Rabstein and Altman is a proud sponsor of the Greater Flemington Soccer Club, the largest independent soccer club in Central New Jersey. As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, the Greater Flemington Soccer Club promotes and fosters the game of soccer to boys and girls ages 5 to 19 primarily residing in Flemington Borough and Raritan Township.

The Flemington Flames girls’ U-11 team is a full-sided travel team of girls 10 and 11 years of age. The team plays against teams from other leagues in New Jersey, from places such as Colts Neck, Holmdel, Montclair, Westfield, Bridgewater, Hopewell, East Brunswick and Far Hills. This is the first year that the girls on this team have played full field, and the team sports a 6-3 record entering the final game of the season this Sunday. There is a fall season and a spring season, and in between the team often plays in weekend tournaments in various locales around the State.

The Board of Directors of the Greater Flemington Soccer Club, through the sport of soccer, sees its goals as physical and moral development of its players, providing for a recreation program and a travel team program affiliated with inter-association leagues, fostering the philosophy that while always playing to win, winning is secondary to proper conduct and respect to others, and, most importantly, for the enjoyment of the game, as can be seen from the photograph of the team taken following the Montgomery game.
