Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman attorney Timothy Hinton secured a $550,000 settlement on the eve of trial for a State of New Jersey employee who sustained serious injuries after falling at a commercial property.
The lawsuit alleged that unsafe building conditions, including inadequate lighting and tripping hazards, caused the client to fall while exiting the building during a fire alarm. As a result of her injuries, she ultimately underwent spinal surgery.
The case was resolved for $550,000 shortly before trial.
