He has been representing the interests of injured workers and union members for his entire legal career and has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Workers’ Compensation Trial Attorney. He was named a 2021 “Lawyer of the Year” – awarded by Best Lawyers.* and has been frequently included on a list called “Super Lawyers”* He received an AV by Martindale-Hubbell*, the highest attorney rating given by that organization.
Mr. Adams has litigated numerous Workers’ Compensation appeals in the Superior Court, Appellate Division and in the Supreme Court of New Jersey. His extensive trial experience includes matters involving occupational pulmonary and cancer claims; cardiac claims; repetitive motion injuries; death claims, both traumatic and due to occupational diseases, as well as thousands of claims for traumatic injuries.
Mr. Adams is a past Chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section. He is a Senior Vice President of the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety and Health (COSH). In that capacity, he has appeared before the New Jersey Legislature to testify regarding Workers’ Compensation matters. He also participated in the drafting of a proposed amendment to the Workers’ Compensation Law to increase awards for injuries to the hands and feet, and testified before the Legislature in support of the bill, which passed both houses of the Legislature before being vetoed by Governor Christie.
Mr. Adams is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers College, New Brunswick, and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers University Law School in Newark. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
