Firm partners and NJAJ members, Jeffrey Monaghan and Sherri Warfel, will be participating in this year’s NJAJ Boardwalk Seminar held from April 17-19 at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.
Jeff Monaghan, a co-chair of the Workers’ Compensation section, will be moderating the Workers’ Compensation program on Friday, April 19th.
Sherri Warfel will be presenting for the Nursing Home Seminar on Thursday, April 18th. Ms. Warfel will be speaking on the topic of proving a facility is a Nursing Home under the NJ Nursing Home Act. She is presenting on this matter as a result of her recent success in the Appellate Division which vacated the improper order entered by the Trial Court below.
NJAJ is a statewide legal association that fights for the rights of New Jersey’s families by working to preserve and strengthen the laws for safer products and workplaces, a cleaner environment, and quality health care. Their annual Boardwalk Seminar involves three days of seminars to advance the education and skills of the membership and provide Continuing Legal Education for trial attorneys. The 2024 program will feature 20 programs and include outstanding local and regional speakers along with top national speakers.
