Jennifer R. Haythorn is a partner in the Family Law department. She concentrates her practice exclusively on family law issues arising from the dissolution of marriages as well as post-judgment issues, including, but not limited to, alimony, custody and parenting time disputes, child support, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, complex business valuations including, but not limited to, the valuations of medical practices, removal of children from the State, and Special / Supplemental Needs Trusts. Ms. Haythorn is skilled in all stages of family law litigation – conducting discovery, the preparation and defense of Motions, settlement panels, trials, and appellate work. She is also an experienced negotiator.
Ms. Haythorn received her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. She thereafter received her Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the George Washington University Law School in 2008.
During law school, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Raymond Lyons in the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Trenton, New Jersey.
Ms. Haythorn is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Haythorn has been included in the list of “Rising Stars”* each year commencing in 2013. The “Rising Star”* designation is given by a division of Super Lawyers dedicated to recognizing the top up-and-coming attorneys in New Jersey who are forty years old and younger or who have been practicing for ten years or less.
Ms. Haythorn was chosen to serve as an Early Settlement Panel Member in Mercer County commencing in January 2015.
