BIOGRAPHY

W. Barry Rank is Of Counsel to the firm. He joined PR&A in 1999 and concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, representation of small businesses, debt collection, land use and sewerage authority law.
I am an attorney with extensive experience as an owner and operator of liquor stores and a restaurant and as a developer and owner of commercial properties and affordable housing. I have represented a local planning board for 15 years and a regional sewerage authority for 32 years

He was formerly the senior partner in Weston, Kravitz & Rank, a general law practice with a concentration in the defense of professional negligence claims on behalf of several large insurance companies

Born and raised in Mercer County, New Jersey, Mr. Rank graduated from The Lawrenceville School, The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce and received his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1968.

He was the judicial clerk to the Hon. A. Jerome Moore J.S.C. and the Hon. Samuel D. Lenox J.S.C., an Assistant Deputy Public Defender and Counsel to the Ewing Township Planning Board from 1974 to 1990. Since 1990 he has been Counsel to the Ewing Lawrence Sewerage Authority.

Mr. Rank is admitted to practice in New Jersey. He has successfully argued several published opinions in the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division.

In addition to his extensive legal background he possesses vast business experience, having owned and operated businesses and developed, constructed and managed commercial real estate projects for 38 years, including a New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency financed 9% Federal Tax Credit moderate income housing development in Ewing Township, New Jersey.
