PR&A Attorneys Lydia Fabbro Keephart and Christopher DeAngelo Assist The Lawrenceville School In Winning Mock Trial Competition

PR&A attorneys Lydia Fabbro
Keephart and Christopher DeAngelo donated their time to assist The
Lawrenceville School with their participation in this year’s Mercer County Mock
Trial Competition.

The Mock Trial Competition is a
yearly event sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.  The
Competition, now in its 33rd year, is one of the nation’s foremost
contests of its kind for high school students.  The competition gives
students a “hands-on” look at the legal process.  Through active
preparation it brings law to life for students, not only demystifying the
operation of the law and court procedures but also helps students increase
leaderships skills and further develop skills such as listening, speaking,
writing, reading and analyzing.  Students prepared for the fictitious case
for months, developing and executing the matter for trial.

The Lawrenceville School team defeated Princeton High School
on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 to claim the title of winner in this year’s
Mercer County Mock Trial Competition.  As winners of the County level, The
Lawrenceville School will represent Mercer County in the Regional Competition
that is being held on February 5, 2015 at the New Jersey State Bar
Association’s Law Center in New Brunswick.

The
Lawrenceville School team included the following students; Bryan Lee, Jonas
Frumkin, Fernando Guerrero, Eric Chen, Jack Lavin, Azam Janmohamed, Lisa
Liu, Aly Sledge, Anna Vinitsky, Olivia Brandon, Maxx Wragan and is coached by
The Lawrenceville school teacher,  Champneys Atlee
